Starting in 2008, the I.C.A. Academy will train qualified chefs to become Managers of Culinary Art. The programme pays particular attention to specialist areas such as hotel and restaurant gastronomy, system gastronomy, catering and so on. These areas offer and create both jobs and business opportunities. The courses of the I.C.A. Academy and the carefully selected board of lecturers cover the entire value chain. Leading experts will share their knowledge on: • target-group oriented offers for different needs and tastes as well as for diverse social and culinary trends, • appropriate marketing strategies as well as human resource management • process areas such as production technology and hygiene, • supply chain management and procurement. These expert lectures are the base of the I.C.A. curriculum and form part of our programme of network conferences, bringing together chefs and specialists from leading companies in the food and service industries to exchange ideas on opportunities, products and trends in the market place. Furthermore, our young managers will also receive support from the German “Let’s go magic” culinary team of the Institute of Culinary Art. |
